For Those Who Carry Pain in Both Their Body and Their Heart
You’ve done everything you can, but life still feels overwhelming. I’m here to help you find what’s next.
Do you feel overwhelmed by your health, heartbreak, or the loss of someone you love?
Does it feel like your life has become an endless cycle of uncertainty, loneliness, and exhaustion?
Do you find yourself…
Trying to cope with the unpredictability of your health or emotions, while feeling like there is no space to truly rest or breathe?
Exhausted from carrying grief or heartbreak, unsure how to move forward in a way that feels true to what matters most to you?
Feeling like you’re never doing enough, even as you push yourself to keep going through the pain or the loss?
Isolating yourself because it feels like no one else understands what you’re carrying or how deeply it’s affecting you?
Going through the motions of life, disconnected from joy or the sense of self, because everything feels too heavy to navigate?
If this feels familiar, you’re in the right place to find support and understanding.
HI, I’M DR. KRISTINE PICKWITH.
I help those blindsided by life search for a way forward through the disorientation and uncertainty.
Living with chronic illness, grieving a loss, or navigating caregiving can feel like carrying an invisible weight. You may feel overwhelmed by physical pain, emotionally drained from endless responsibilities, or lost as you try to adjust to a life that no longer looks like the one you envisioned.
Grief is rarely simple. Perhaps you’re mourning the death of a parent—feeling the ache of their absence, or grappling with unresolved feelings from a complicated relationship. Maybe caregiving has left you torn between love, guilt, and exhaustion, struggling to meet everyone’s needs while neglecting your own. Or perhaps you’re processing the end of a relationship, wondering how to rebuild when the future feels uncertain.
In therapy, we’ll create a space where all of these emotions—grief, frustration, love, and even resentment—can be acknowledged without judgment. Together, we’ll explore ways to care for your emotional and physical well-being, building strategies to manage stress, ease emotional pain, and reconnect with what matters most to you.
My approach is compassionate and flexible, grounded in understanding the complexities of your unique challenges. Together, we’ll work toward creating a life that feels more manageable, meaningful, and aligned with your values.
